My name is Matthew Anderson, and Jigson's the game making name I came up with. We make colorful games here, and here we'll be showing Super Major Miner  (or Major Miner for short). I actually released this game on GXC initially for a competition. This is my first public project EVER. Please be aware that this is my first proper demo of the game, if you have any complaints, I can still make changes! Please don't hesitate to leave feedback!

Major Miner Gameplay

In Major Miner, your goal is to collect enough treasure in the sack (usually near the start). You stack treasure in your hands until you can't carry anymore -- the blue meter on the right is your Weight Gauge. Some treasure is hidden within ground, so you'll need to use your pickaxe to uncover it.  Hidden treasure will gleam when approached. There are also enemies to fight.

Nothing is final, the game is still being developed.

Major Miner Features

- Controller support -- with button mapping options! (I only tested with the SNES Bluetooth controller, but I know at least some other controllers are sure to work as well, such as the N64 Bluetooth controller.)

- 2-player Co-op!

About the Controls:

- There is a READ ME in the download that contains the game's default controls and other info. Read it!

- NOTE: THE 2P HAS TO USE A CONTROLLER AND THE 1P A KEYBOARD ON 2P MODE.

- And right now my game only displays buttons from the SNES controller in the HUD, so if you want accurate button HUD for the controller you are using, you are out of luck for this demo. But in the future I will let you choose your controller styles!

Future features you can expect from this game:

- This game will focus more on exploration, with secret treasures you can find in levels

- The world map will be much more fleshed out, with alternate paths you can take, as well as shops where you can spend your coins for helpful items; sadly coins serve no purpose in this demo. I hope to change that soon!

- More enemies; music; sound effects; characters and more! At the moment, this demo features only 2 different basic enemies to fight.

- Upgrades for your pickaxe and jackhammer!

- And more to come in the future!
